Our Standards

How we decide who gets listed

Anyone can build a slick storefront. Our job is to look underneath it. Our standard is simple: you should be able to try it, return it, and reach a human β€” or the company doesn't get listed. Every listing β€” free, affiliate, or paid partner β€” passes every point below, and listings are removed if a company slips. Had a bad experience with a listed company? Every company page has a report form β€” tell us, we re-review them, and if they're not abiding by our rules, they're removed.

Only 63% make it.  Of the 209 companies we've reviewed so far, 44 were rejected for failing the criteria below and only 132 earned a listing. This number updates as we review more.

1

Try before you buy

Every company must offer a free trial β€” or, at a very minimum, a 7-day money-back guarantee that starts the day your product arrives. You always get a real chance to change your mind.

2

No fine-print returns

Companies that restrict returns with conditions like "unopened, in original box, undamaged" are excluded β€” period. If you can't actually try the product and still return it, the guarantee is meaningless.

3

A real way to reach them

Every company must publish a customer-service phone number or email β€” a genuine way to get in touch when something goes wrong. If we can't reach a human, neither can you.

4

Realistic claims only

Miracle results and too-good-to-be-true promises are a red flag. Companies that oversell what their product can do don't make the list.

The three ways companies are listed

Listed

Companies we discovered and vetted on our own. They don't pay us anything β€” many don't even know they're here. Listed purely because they deserve to be.

βœ“ Vetted Affiliate

Vetted companies with referral programs we've joined. If you shop through our link, we may earn a commission β€” it never costs you extra, and it never influences whether a company passes vetting.

πŸ… Referred Partner

Companies that applied, passed the same vetting as everyone else, and support the directory with a $199/year fee. They get premium placement and the Referred Partner badge β€” and they're held to the highest standard. The fee never buys a pass on vetting.
